The Diabetic Foundation raises money
for poor families with Juvenile Diabetes. We provide immediate cash
grants ranging from $100 per month to $250 per month per family to
help them pay for their co-pays, medical supplies or any other
expenses associated with diabetes.
There are many great foundations that raise money to find a cure for
diabetes. The Diabetic Foundation was created specifically to
deal with the "Here & Now" issues of diabetes while we hope for
and believe a cure is coming in the future.
In order to quality for financial assistance, a family must have
full-time employment, at least one child with juvenile diabetes, and
demonstrate a true need for our help.
Diabetes is fast
becoming a reality for millions of Americans. If you do not suffer
from it, it is hard to imagine what life is like for those who do.
It is very difficult to face
such a diagnosis as an adult. Now imagine receiving this
life-altering news as a child. Then imagine hearing that it is your
child who now has diabetes.
Handling juvenile diabetes can be challenging for any family. Those difficulties multiply when there is no room for it in your budget. Medications, testing supplies and doctors visits are extremely costly; whether you have insurance or not.
Therein lies the need. The Diabetic Foundation was created to offer relief to those families and you can help by clicking here. Your donations will directly benefit the families that need it the most.
You may donate as little or as much as you like. The minimum
donation to support one family with a diabetic child for one year is $1,200.
Applications for assistance arrive year round. There is always a family in need of help.
